The first class of the “Sailing Plan” and the “Postdoctoral Innovation Center” of the Central and Eastern European Center have been launched in Hungary

On October 12, 2024, the “the Belt and Road” (Central and Eastern Europe) Center of the School of Industrialists of Xi’an Jiaotong Liverpool University officially launched the “First Class of the Sailing Plan” and the “Postdoctoral Innovation Center” in Budapest, Hungary, with the aim of cultivating talents with international vision, investment banking thinking and practical ability for Chinese enterprises to “go overseas” in the Central and Eastern European market.

At the launch ceremony, Mr. Geng Jian, the industry president of the “the Belt and Road” of Xipu Industrialists College, gave the first lesson of “disruptive thinking”, encouraging students to break the traditional thinking framework driven by innovation, think deeply about innovation opportunities in the context of globalization, and inject new impetus into future career development.

The “the Belt and Road” Business Department (Central and Eastern Europe) Center of Xipu Industrial College, as a practical platform for resource integration and innovative education to help Chinese enterprises go overseas, takes Hungary as the operation center, radiates Poland, Romania, Serbia and other countries, and provides comprehensive services such as investment consulting, human resource consulting, science and innovation incubation.

The ‘Qihang Plan’ focuses on providing career planning training and employment and entrepreneurship guidance for international students, helping them better adapt to the globalized work environment. The “Postdoctoral Innovation Center” relies on research institutions and enterprise cooperation platforms from universities such as Xi’an Jiaotong Liverpool University and Xi’an Jiaotong University, aiming to promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and entrepreneurial incubation through the “industry university research integration” model.

The “Qihang Plan” and “Postdoctoral Innovation Center” are the core projects of the center, in addition to “Investment Discovery Journey” and “Navigator Customized Services”. Entrepreneurs will be invited to participate in on-site inspections and exchanges in the Central and Eastern European markets, and provide investment consulting and human resources solutions for overseas enterprises.
