The “the Belt and Road” (Central and Eastern Europe) Center of Xi’an Jiaotong Liverpool University helped to successfully conclude the job fair for Chinese enterprises in Hungary

On November 10, 2024, a special job fair for Chinese funded enterprises in Hungary was held at the Euqiao Technology Industrial Park in Budapest, with nearly 40 Chinese funded enterprises including Huawei, BYD, and CATL participating. This job fair covers multiple fields such as technology, engineering, telecommunications, aviation, commerce, logistics, and finance, offering various positions including technology research and development, finance, marketing, administrative management, and translation. The “the Belt and Road” (Central and Eastern Europe) Center of Xi’an Jiaotong Liverpool University was invited to participate in this job fair, to have in-depth exchanges with major Chinese enterprises, to understand the talent needs of enterprises, and to introduce the core business and services of the center to enterprises and job seekers in detail. The atmosphere of the event was warm and the interaction was frequent.

Chen Yiwei, Minister Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Hungary, delivered a speech at the job fair, stating that Chinese enterprises’ investments in Hungary have covered multiple key areas such as intelligent manufacturing, new energy vehicles, finance, chemicals, and biotechnology, demonstrating the diversification and depth of Chinese enterprises’ development in Hungary. As an important participant in this job fair, the representative of the “the Belt and Road” (Central and Eastern Europe) Center of Xi’an Jiaotong Liverpool University introduced the platform business and service model of the Center to Counselor Chen Yiwei in detail. The center provides comprehensive services for enterprises, including investment and financing consulting, market research, and talent cultivation, which will effectively enhance the competitiveness and influence of Chinese enterprises in Hungary.

As an important platform to help Chinese enterprises “go overseas” to the Central and Eastern European market, the “the Belt and Road” (Central and Eastern Europe) Center of Xi’an Jiaotong Liverpool University actively carried out close exchanges with many Chinese enterprises. The representative of the center answered many questions from enterprises and job seekers on site, demonstrating the advantages of the center in talent cultivation, industry university research integration, and investment consulting in the Central and Eastern European markets, and received widespread attention.

These projects include the “Silk Road Silicon Valley Postdoctoral Innovation Center”, “Enterprise Customized MBA/EDP Innovation Education Project”, “Central and Eastern European Market Industry Investment Research”, and “Going Global” Central and Eastern European Investment and Financing Consulting, providing comprehensive support and services for Chinese enterprises to “go global” in the Central and Eastern European markets.
