Xi’an Jiaotong University’s “Xi’an Jiaotong SLUGU Business School” launches operation in Hungary

Budapest, January 8, 2026- At EDUCATIO 2026, the largest higher education event in Hungary, China’s 985 and Double First Class university Xi’an Jiaotong University’s “Xi’an Jiaotong SLUGU Business School” and China’s leading embodied intelligent technology enterprise “Cloud Deep Technology · Silk Road Silicon Valley (Central and Eastern Europe) Innovation Center” were officially launched. Professor Geng Jian, director of the “the Belt and Road” industry of XJTLU Liverpool University and vice president of Shanghai International Chamber of Commerce, said that the official launch of “XJTL SLUGU Business School” and “Deep Cloud Science and Technology. SLUGU (Central and Eastern Europe) Innovation Center” in Budapest marked that Xipu has taken a solid step in practicing the “the Belt and Road” integration of industry and education to create an ecological platform of “industry, education, research, politics and society”. The “the Belt and Road” Central and Eastern Europe Center of Xi’an Jiaotong Liverpool University, relying on the international platform of Xi’an Jiaotong Liverpool University and more than 30 years of operating experience in Central and Eastern Europe of Chinese enterprises, focuses on the innovative education model of “industry, education, research, government and society” integration, and cooperates with the educational resources of top universities in China, such as Xi’an Jiaotong University and Peking University, to establish an ecological platform of industry, education, research and finance covering Central and Eastern Europe. In April 2025, the center successfully held the “Dialogue Forum on Industry University Research Integration Investment of Chinese Enterprises Going Global to Central and Eastern Europe” and released the “Blue Book of Investment Opportunities and Strategies for Central and Eastern European Countries”, attracting more than 120 experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs from China, Hungary, and European countries to participate, marking a new stage of international education and industrial cooperation in Central and Eastern Europe.

Xijiao SLUGU Business School is the first business school set up in Hungary with an innovative model and independent operation under the background of the in-depth promotion of the “the Belt and Road” initiative and the acceleration of Chinese enterprises to explore the Central and Eastern European market with Hungary as the “bridgehead”.
